ClimateInsights™

Finding climate actions hidden in plain sight

ClimateInsights™ uses the power of AI to uncover climate related actions already embedded in local government plans – so communities can move faster on climate without starting from scratch.

How It Works

ClimateInsights™ analyzes existing plans – such as comprehensive, housing, transportation, and economic development plans – and identifies actions that also support climate goals.

It helps users:

  • See where climate action is already happening
  • Spot gaps and alignment opportunities
  • Connect work across departments

No new planning process. Just clearer insight from the plans that already exist.

How We’re Using It

ClimateInsights™ is already supporting communities through Climate Ready America and Climate Ready Communities.

Navigators use ClimateInsights™ to quickly identify climate‑aligned actions in existing plans – so they can help the communities they serve take immediate, feasible steps towards greater climate resilience without starting a new planning process.

ClimateInsights™ is available to cohort participants to help them see how climate shows up across their plans, identify gaps, and support the next steps in their climate resilience plan.

Start With What You Already Have

Climate action doesn’t always need to start with a new plan.

It starts with seeing existing work more clearly.
